Profile
For more than 35 years, David E. Robbins, has represented individuals, families and businesses and offered legal counsel and personal advice as a general practitioner. As a highly skilled and accomplished lawyer, he enjoys a reputation of competent and zealous advocacy across a wide spectrum of legal issues. His experience is augmented by his years of service as law clerk in Delaware County for over fourteen different jurists from eight different counties. This background benefits his clients as it allows him to bring to the table insights as both advocate and arbiter. Additionally, in researching and drafting opinions for these judges, Dave has sharpened his intellectual and writing skills which he enjoys deploying in appellate work for his clients. He is particularly proud of the fact that a number of retired judges have consulted with and have referred legal work to him. His experience has also been tapped to act as a court-appointed Chair of arbitration panels and has been selected to serve as a neutral arbitrator in private arbitrations.
Dave is a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States of America and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Claims.
By earning the respect of his colleagues, Dave has been recognized by Martindale-Hubbell (in which peers evaluate a lawyer’s legal ability and ethical standards) with an “AV Preeminent” rating. An “AV” rating is the highest possible qualification MH bestows upon an attorney. He has also been honored by his clients and has achieved MH Client Champion Silver Status.
In 1999, Dave served as President of the Delaware County Bar Association. He has remained active in that professional organization and actively serves as a Delegate to the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s House of Delegates.
